He Herenga Kura
He Herenga Tangata
He Herenga Whenua
At He Herenga Kura our purpose is simple but powerful - we're here to ensure whānau in Te Whanganui ā Tara has a safe place to call home. and the support they need to thrive.
We are a kaupapa Māori organisation with over 50 years of service to our communities. Our mahi is grounded in manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, kotahitanga and rangatiratanga. These values guide us as we walk alongside whānau on their journey, helping them to strengthen connections, restore wellbeing and build flourishing futures.
What we do
We provide a wide range of housing and social support services, tailored to the needs of whānau and rangatahi. No matter whether you are Māori or non-Māori, we are here to help you.
